1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Reswood Creations website and the purchase of products through our online shopping cart (the “Site”). Reswood Creations (ABN 67 235 055 084) is referred to in these Terms as “we”, “us” or “Reswood”.

By browsing the Site, placing an order, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Site or purchase our products.

2. Our Products — Handmade Items

All Reswood products are individually handmade. Because each piece is crafted by hand rather than mass-produced, you should expect natural and slight variation between items, including in relation to:

• Wood grain, colour tone, and natural markings;

• Size, shape, and finish; and

• Minor imperfections such as small marks, tool traces, or asymmetry.

These characteristics are a normal result of the handmade process and are not considered faults or defects. Product photos on the Site are provided as a general guide only, and the item you receive may differ slightly in appearance for these reasons.

3. Orders and Payment

When you place an order through the Site, you are making an offer to purchase the selected product(s), which we may accept or decline at our discretion (for example, if a product is out of stock or a pricing error has occurred).

All prices are shown in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable, unless stated otherwise. We take reasonable care to ensure prices and product descriptions on the Site are accurate, but errors may occasionally occur; in that case we will contact you before processing your order.

Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering using the payment methods available on the Site. Your order will only be confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.

4. Shipping and Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders within a reasonable timeframe of purchase, though handmade items may occasionally take longer to prepare. Estimated delivery times provided on the Site or at checkout are indicative only and are not guaranteed.

Risk in the products passes to you once the order has been delivered to the address provided at checkout. If your order arrives damaged in transit, please contact us as soon as possible (and within 7 days of delivery) so we can assist you — see clause 5 below.

5. Returns, Refunds and Faulty Products

Change of mind: Because our products are handmade to order and each piece is unique, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect selection, or because a product's natural handmade variation (see clause 2) differs from your expectations.

Faulty products: If a product you receive is genuinely faulty, damaged on arrival, or otherwise does not meet a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law (see clause 6), please contact us at the details in clause 10 within 14 days of delivery, along with your order number, proof of purchase, and photos of the issue. We will assess each case and, where a genuine fault is confirmed, will offer a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Please note that minor variations described in clause 2 are a feature of handmade products, not a fault, and are not covered by this clause.

6. Your Rights Under the Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL, including that they are of acceptable quality and match their description.

Where permitted by law, our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee is limited, at our option, to the repair or replacement of the goods, or the cost of doing so.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, images, product photography, logos, and design — is owned by or licensed to Reswood Creations and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or otherwise use this content without our prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to clause 6, Reswood Creations will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or purchase of our products. Nothing in this clause limits any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Privacy

Any personal information you provide when using the Site or placing an order is collected and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Site, you consent to this collection and use of your information.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland for any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms.
